The new European digital standard revealed

Big data, cloud solutions, augmented and virtual reality have gained a foothold in recent years, paving the way for further trends that drive the digital transformation. Companies are trying to keep pace with these developments by re-implementing and updating system landscapes. The EDEN (European Digital Entity Norm) study analyzes the degree of digitization and the associated opportunities and risks in German companies.

About EDEN study

EDEN stands for European Digital Entity Norm and – in the associated published study – describes the digitalization status quo of businesses located in Europe. The study is designed as a continuous project based on regular analysis of data. As a result, content is dynamically adjusted to changing general conditions within the interacting software markets and companies.

The long-term objective of the EDEN study is to record and observe current digitalization developments within European enterprises. This is made possible by determining the associated online EDEN score. The personalised EDEN score is designed to give those comanies participating transparency to uncover their own digital potential and to successfully deploy this in competition.

Interested companies can do a self-check at www.edenstudy.com to check how the digital transformation and information supply chain is in their company. The EDEN Study (European Digital Entity Norm) is also available for download after a free registration.

The EDEN study is an independent scientific project and is supported by WERK II.
