A Revolution in Labeling: Setting New Standards in Label Production

KEIMFARBEN GmbH is the market leader for high-quality silicate paints for interior and exterior use. Mineral plasters and fillers, wood systems, products for concrete repair and concrete cosmetics, as well as thermal insulation systems complete their product portfolio. The comprehensive range consists of around 500 products and 5,000 variants and is translated into 14 different languages. The automation of label production was highly relevant to increase efficiency while reducing costs and effort.

By generating and finishing the labels using priint:comet and InDesign, KEIMFARBEN now creates a high level of adaptability to changing market requirements. Additionally, it also provides a high degree of flexibility in terms of multilingualism, label sizes and variants, such as hazardous substance templates.

Sabrina Ruckerbauer, Marketing Manager at KEIMFARBEN GmbH provides insights into the new standards of label production:

  • Initial situation and special features: e.g. standard and hazardous substance templates, use/generation of barcodes, multilingualism
  • Benefits of the new labeling process
  • Goals, prospects
