Artificial Intelligence – what’s next?

One of the most exciting recent developments is certainly generative AI- which now has the ability to create text, images, videos and even generate music. In companies, generative AI is used to automatically compose product texts or news articles, generate creative content and speed up processes. So, what now? Is that it - or what profound changes can we expect from the use of artificial intelligence?

Steffen Meier trained as a publisher's bookseller at Ernst Klett Verlag before studying history in Stuttgart, working for daily newspapers and managing the editorial department of a city newspaper. At the turn of the millennium, he took over the development and management of the online publishing division at the specialist publisher Eugen Ulmer. He then led the product innovation and marketing departments at a software provider in Dortmund. In 2016, Steffen became the founder and publisher of the "DIGITAL PUBLISHING REPORT"- a media platform for the media, communication and marketing industries. He has also published various publications and books and has held a variety of teaching positions at several universities.
