The central component of igus' digitization strategy is the creation of a central product data stock as a "single source of truth" for all communication channels. In addition to the technically characterized service offer of the online channel with product configurators and catalogs, the printed media in particular are a significant buyer of the product data of the introduced PIM system. The extensive technical product catalogs are of particular importance. Starting from igus' superordinate digitization strategy, the presentation will show the challenges, solution approaches and project procedure for data organization and automation of the print process chain.
