Opening a parcel that has just been delivered is one of the most emotional moments for a purchaser. In many cases, however, s/he first has to contend with a pile of advertising which in no way addresses his or her personal situation.

Individually prepared flyers have great potential: placed in the package prior to dispatch, they are relevant to the recipient and are, therefore, emotionally appealing. They are a unique opportunity to trigger a purchase impulse. Accordingly, the demand for personalised parcel supplements is growing. They still pose a great logistical challenge and therefore only a small number of platforms are currently capable of generating such materials.
